However, both the plug type used and the technical design are preconfigured to the European standard.

Please inform us at the end of the ordering process if you plan on operating the amp at 117/120 volts.

In this case, for example, other fuses and a different power plug must be included.

WARNING:

Please note that the amp-kit are not a beginners' project but for experienced amp builders!

Voltages inside tube amplifiers can exceed 500V and can cause serious damage and can even kill!

KT66 JTM45 beauty

Pure tone and excellent components, eventually better than the reissue from Marshall. Congratz TAD, you're killing the game.

Awesome kit. Killer tone

This is my 4th TAD build. Highly recommend amp. The build is not for beginners and looks like an advanced tweed amp. Compaired to the deluxe reverb its an less complexe kitamp.The turredboard is easyer than eyelet boards. The lead dress is tight around the transformer section. I’m amazed of the volume that comes out of that amp. On normal volumes the amp pushes a lot of clean headroom without becoming muddy. If you want saturated drive, you got to crank the volume halfway. So i build in a master volume ‘mojotone’ style. Very easy. Just a pot and a wire to the board and a wire to the center lug of the treble pot. It is an effective mod that really works well. As you all know, the delivery was fast and parts are good quality. Money well spend.

Jtm45

the 3rd tube amp that I Build, but the best of All.
There are Very good components & wires, No Buzz even if high volume.
Played on Orange PP412 with explorer & Les Paul: It's sound great. I used to player in a hughes& K 18w tubemaster + Avil Préamp but I was suprised by the sound Quality. Without Pedal a vintage groove, I've to turn all pot to have a good crunch, but it's not the best configuration for me. Without Pedal, no need to turn to 10 the pot.
This amp has great comportment with pédals, Disto/Boost/chorus/reverb/wha, a little bit harder to get a great sound with délay. I don't often use delay so maybe the problem is the guy not the stuff ;)
Next project is blackface with spring reverb, i don't know when but i'll buy my stuff on TAD. Price is High quality is clearly Higher. Thanks TAD, a great time to build a greater to play !!!

I am a satisfied user of goods TAD - last kit JTM 45. It is a great kit for advanced builders - based JTM be tested in several variants: JTM45, 1959 SLP, one wire mode (2203/4). He proved the best version of the 1959 SLP and to the master volume. I feed it overdrive MXR GT-OD mode ZW. TAD is doing a good job and very well. TAD = safe bet.

A real vintage Marshall sound ! great clean tones and a incredible crunch " a la AC/DC" . This amp is fantastic ! I love It !!
