The TAD BiasMaster is a high-quality measuring device specifically designed for the precise adjustment of the bias current in tube amplifiers. With this tool, you can measure the bias current of your power tubes directly inside the amplifier.
Easy to Use and Accurate Measurement
The BiasMaster features a backlit display and four switchable measurement inputs. Using the appropriate socket adapters, you can measure the bias currents of all common power tubes with octal bases such as 6V6GT, 6L6GC, EL34, 6550A, KT66, KT88, KT90, and many more directly in your amp. Special adapters are also available for tubes with noval bases like EL84 or 6BQ5.
The process is straightforward: plug the socket adapter between the tube socket and the tube, connect it to the BiasMaster, and the device is ready to measure. After a short warm-up period, you can read the bias current directly on the display and adjust it if necessary.
