What is an RV-MOD?

The two connectors of a reverb tank can either be grounded or not.

There are four options, defined by the third-to-last position of the part number (e.g. RV-4AB3C1B):

A = Input Grounded / Output Grounded

B = Input Grounded / Output Insulated

C = Input Insulated / Output Grounded

D = Input Insulated / Output Insulated

If the available options do not match the required grounding of your device, we can modify the reverb accordingly - upcharge EUR 12,- (incl. tax). In that case, please add the "RV-MOD" option and tell us the desired grounding (A, B, C or D) using the commentary field when placing the order.

TAD reverb tanks can be mounted in any position (defined by the last letter).

I change my acu&belton tank for a RV 4AB3C1B... Had a lot of problems with the acu&belton (noise...) and now It's just great!!! with the TAD Tank... Very good gear!!!

superb replacement for my original can! i think it sound very closer to the original nos, but better made, superb construction, just for professional use.great sound, it's true it make your amp sing.thanks again TAD

This is an excellent replacement for the standard Accutronics unit. I replaced the tank in my SuperSonic 60 when it failed on its first gig. This TAD reverb has all the hallmarks, design and sound characteristics of the original, yet it is infinitely better made. Simple things like rubber grommets which stop it clattering about and less prone to physical breakages. Longer wires to avoid stress on solder joints and clearly better quality components all round. Sounds rich, lush and deep. Drops straight in. Combined with a couple of NOS 12AT7's this amp now has a fresh complexion. Recommended.
