Full Gain - Low Noise - Triple Mica construction!

The TAD 7025 WA HIGHGRADE delivers full gain with smooth top end. No microphony issues even with the most sensitive preamps. The 7025 WA supports a fat midrange and creates a bold tone with lots of harmonics.

Played clean, the TAD 7025 WA delivers a warm liquid tone which is very responsive to dynamic playing.

Overdriven, the 7025 WA provides lots of sustain with well defined mid-range punch.

Salve possiedo un ampli fender super twin rewerb, e da voi ho acquistato tutte le valvole per fare un chek up totale (7025 WA tad hi,12at7,7025 S premium,6L6WGC-STR GE,6C10,6CX8).Il suono è fantastico e devo dire che tad ha dei prodotti di ottima qualita.Tra l' altro la valvola 6C10 per me era introvabile.

Hello! I have a fender super twin amp reverb and have purchased all the valves to make up a total check (7025 WA tad highgrade, 12AT7, 7025 S premium 6L6WGC-STR GE, 6C10, 6CX8.) The sound is fantastic and I must say tad products are of excellent qualita. And the other valve 6C10 I didn't find anywhere else.

Great v1 tube for my vintage Orange OR80R! I also use 7025 S (v2) and ECC81 (v3) in this amp, this setup sounds really nice!

Replaced the stock V1 tube in my Billm-modded Blues Junior. What a difference. Copes with the expanded base capabilities of the amp very well. Very pleased with it. Need to decide what goes in V2 and 3 now.

I put this tube in V1 position on my Mes Rect-o-verb II.

The clean channel is just fabulous, with a tight dynamic and a good articulation. Followed by a New Tung Sol and 2 TAD 0010.

Very satisfied with TAB tubes.

TAD 7025 WA HIGHGRADE tube makes an excellent choice for the V1 & V2 positions of my Fender Hor Rod Deluxe III guitar amplifier (TAD 12AX7A-C in V3 PI). Combined with TAD 6L6GC-STR power amp tubes, the end result produces a tone richness and musicality that I find most pleasing. The TAD tubes enhance the "organic" nature of this amp and responds well to the player's input. I now await another of these tubes for the V3 position. A great quality replacement tube, it was well worth trying out and I highly recommend them.

The tube works fine and very detailed in the sound, but with this tube I'm suddenly getting a periodic 50 Hz hum when the water pump i the next room starts :-) It's kind of strange as it's only with this tube plugged in I have the problem.

RT080 tubes arrived and are top quality. I find them as good or even better than superb RT010. I am convinced that they will still improve significantly after 50 h burning. Congratulations for the superb quality of service.

When does a tube become a Premium Selected tube?

Power tubes

All power tubes labeled Premium Selected have passed the following tests:

- Plate Current (PC) and Amplification (TC)

- Low Noise Test

- Microphonic Test

- Sonic Tests

- Shock Tests

- Listening Tests

- Shorts & Leakage Tests

Premium RT-Matching of Power Tubes

Our Premium Matching is an exact matching of power tubes with identical Plate Current (PC) and Transconductance (TC).

TAD Premium Selected tubes are guaranteed for a period of 6 months (according to terms of warranties)

for the quality criteria mentioned above.

Preamp tubes

All preamp tubes labeled Premium Selected have passed the following tests:

- Low Noise Test

- Microphonic Test

- Gain Test

- Sonic Tests

- Shock Tests

- Listening Tests

- Balanced Output Test

Premium Selected

We call the tubes SELECTED which have passed above tests and thus qualify as reliable all-round tubes of their type.Typically this is around 30-60% from a batch that receives the SELECTED label from TAD.

For applications in particularly sensitive functions such as V1 or input stage with combo amps, V1 in high-gain amps, tube microphones and phono preamps, we recommend using the respective HIGHGRADE selection

HIGHGRADE SELECTION

But only those tubes which pass these tests best are labeled Highgrades.Typically this is approx. 3-10% from a production batch that qualifies for the HIGHGRADE rating from TAD.

Matching and Selecting Options for Preamp Tubes

Matching in Pairs for preamp tubes means that two tubes show identical gain, hence, four characteristically identical systems.

This matching method includes our Balance-Selection. We highly recommend this matching method for hi-fi systems.
