What is an RV-MOD?

The two connectors of a reverb tank can either be grounded or not.

There are four options, defined by the third-to-last position of the part number (e.g. RV-4AB3C1B):

A = Input Grounded / Output Grounded

B = Input Grounded / Output Insulated

C = Input Insulated / Output Grounded

D = Input Insulated / Output Insulated

If the available options do not match the required grounding of your device, we can modify the reverb accordingly - upcharge EUR 12,- (incl. tax). In that case, please add the "RV-MOD" option and tell us the desired grounding (A, B, C or D) using the commentary field when placing the order.

TAD reverb tanks can be mounted in any position (defined by the last letter).

Output Impedance:	B = 2250 Ohm
Decay Time:	3 = Long (2.75 to 4.0 sec)

Fantastic Reverb

I purchased the 9AB3C1B TAD Reverb Can 3x2 Springs to replace a faulty reverb in a Louis Electric Princetone (currently called the Columbia Reverb). I also had a load throbbing and clicking noise when the Tremolo was activated... put in the new reverb can; the tremolo noise disappeared and the reverb sounds FANTASTIC! Highly recommended !!!

the big western open space sound !

je viens d'installer cette Reverb sur mon Princeton Reverb Silverface Reissue et je me demande pourquoi j'ai attendu 10 ans ! cette unité est solide avec des matériaux de qualité, et le son transforme mon ampli en me permettant d'obtenir ce son si profond et chaleureux, en maintenant de beaux aigus sans que cela soit claquant !
On est du côté de la musique de film western, des grands espaces suggérés par l'amplitude et la rondeur. C'est une vraie alternative à ce côté "Surf" des Reverbs Fender mais avec cette qualité que n'ont pas les tanks d'origine.
