What is an RV-MOD?

The two connectors of a reverb tank can either be grounded or not.

There are four options, defined by the third-to-last position of the part number (e.g. RV-4AB3C1B):

A = Input Grounded / Output Grounded

B = Input Grounded / Output Insulated

C = Input Insulated / Output Grounded

D = Input Insulated / Output Insulated

If the available options do not match the required grounding of your device, we can modify the reverb accordingly - upcharge EUR 12,- (incl. tax). In that case, please add the "RV-MOD" option and tell us the desired grounding (A, B, C or D) using the commentary field when placing the order.

TAD reverb tanks can be mounted in any position (defined by the last letter).

Top reverb

The reverb tank of my 21 old year Blues Junior died, so I wanted to try this part from TAD. If Mezzabarba himself uses tubes from TAD you can trust for sure. The tank is built much better than the original in my opinion and provides a deep and rich effect. Never used so much the reverb in BJ like now! Very satisfied, Thank you TAD!

I used this to replace the stock reverb can from my Vox AC15C1. Easy to install.

Be critical about the colors. This can has the red and white colors switches as compared to the stock reverb can. I had to connect the red cable to the white connector (INPUT) and white cable to red connector (OUTPUT).

Sounds: Very good, a real improvement of the stock reverb can. The stock reverb can had a too long and too intense echo, and was a bit muddy in my ears. This one really sounds great. Long enough echo and intense enough for my taste.
