In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound.

For the following positions (V2, V3), we recommend the new RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7A/ECC83 Selected which provides a stunning warm tone, thick midrange and sweet natural harmonics. Its low noise performance makes it the perfect choice for clean or moderate gain preamps as well as for high-gain amps.

In its latest version, our low noise tube, RT002 12AT7 / ECC81 TAD Premium Selected is the perfect tube for the V4 position: a strong driver tube with a wounderful rich-sounding reverb driver.

For the power tubes, we chose our RT274 TAD-EL84STR power tube quad with its high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire improve overall reliability. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production. No compromise!
