In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, low microphonics, powerful mids and rich overtone sound. Played clean, the TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE delivers a warm liquid tone which is very responsive to dynamic playing.

The following three positions (V2-V4) use our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. It works best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

For the power tubes, we only recommend the RT122 TAD EL34 - STR REDBASE TAD PREMIUM Selected a very dependable EL34 with a little less power, but therefor a nicely balanced tone with fine heights, very detailed and musical mids and just the right amount of bass. The clear and lively tone and its three-dimensional character speaks for itself.
