Tubeset for Engl Powerball METAL

This tube set is for those who want to put the METAL back into the Powerball!

In the first position this set features our RT006 12AX7WA-R TAD Premium Selected. Its Soft highs and edgy, dominant mids work as the foundation for the Metal sound!

The following two positions have our RT093 TAD ECC83-WB PREMIUM Selection. For the phase driver, we have a special selected RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected.

For the power tubes, we recommend our RT104 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE TAD PREMIUM Selected.

With the right amount of power in the low end, clear and transparent highs, they fill everything from big warm cleans to modern hard rock sounds with life and bite! The classic 6L6 sound - the sound of rock legends!

The bias of the power tubes should be set to approx. 30-35mA. If the original ENGL tubes are still in use, please tell us the grading.

We can supply tubes with the same grading, hence re-biasing becomes unnecessary.
