For a tight and punchy clean sound with nice break up and silky highs we recommend the following combination:

In the first two positions (V1 and V2), this tube set features our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound. Played clean, the TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE delivers a warm liquid tone which is very responsive to dynamic playing.

In its latest version, our low noise tube, RT002 12AT7 / ECC81 TAD Premium Selected is the perfect tube for the (V3) position: a wounderfully rich-sounding reverb driver.

For the following positions (V4, V5), we recommend the RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected which provides a stunning warm tone, thick midrange and sweet natural harmonics. Its low noise performance makes it the perfect choice for clean or moderate gain preamps.

In (V6) our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected will allow the output stage to perform at its optimum for smooth tone and definition. The overall responsiveness will be significantly improved by revealing the full dynamic headroom of the amplifier. Tight deep bass, complex lively mids and silky top end with overall definition. When driven to saturation a guitar amp using an TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selectedtube will provide its optimum sustain and sounds with harmonic overdrive.

For the power section, we recommend a matched pair of our RT102 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE TAD PREMIUM Selected. This tube also performs greatly for lively clean sounds as well as a powerful broadband power amplifier for multi-channel amps.s.

For a perfect, well balanced tone set Bias to 35-40mA per Tube.
