For a powerful, transparent and yet gnarly tone, we recommend our RT030 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE TAD Premium Selected in the first position.

In the second position (V2), we recommend our RT-12AX7 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected.This tube provides for very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response

The following preamp position V3 has our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. Best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

In V4, we recommend our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected for the big & warm clean sounds and mellow top-end when pushed to overdrive. Our recommendation if you are seeking to reduce brightness slightly and you want to emphasise punchy mids.

The power tube section features a matched quad of our RT124 EL34-STR REDBASE TAD Premium Matched. The clear and harmonic open top end allows for great clean tones and at the same time the TAD EL34-STR REDBASE offers incredibly powerful mids and an equally powerful bass.

Bias should be set to 28-35mA. If the original tubes still have the print or the labelcode which states the selection, we can supply matched tubes as exact replacement. Once bias has been adjusted to our TAD tubes, further replacement tubes can be ordered at the same values so another biassing becomes obsolete.
