For getting a very tight, punchy and gainy tone we recommend the following tubes.

Please specify the grading of the tubes which is visible on the socket, If you tell us the color-code we can supply the adequate spares without the need of rebiasing the amp.

The included rectifier tubes 5U4G REDBASE work perfectly as replacements for the MEsa Boogie 5U4G tubes.

triple rectifier tubeset

When i listen to the sound of my triple rec with the Tube Amp Doctor tubeset i'm sure about one thing, i should have replaced the stock tubes a long time ago, very easy to do once once you know the grade of your tubes, i'm very impressed with the sound, the previous tubes (stock) were sounding like "under a blanket", the amp has now better clarity, more gain and seems to be tighter .... very fast answer to my questions, perfect buying experience, thank you TAD for existing.
