Tubeset for Laney GC30V

In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, low microphony, powerful mids and a round, rich overtone sound. Played clean, the TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE delivers a warm liquid tone which is very responsive to dynamic playing.

The following two positions (V2, V3) use our RT-12AX7 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected which provides a stunning warm tone, thick midrange and sweet natural harmonics. Its low noise performance makes it the perfect choice for clean or moderate gain preamps as well as for high-gain amps.

For the power tubes, we chose a matched quad of our RT274 TAD-EL84-Cz with high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire, and therefore overall reliability. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production.

No rebiasing is needed since this Amp is running on a so-called Class A Cathode Bias.
