Our TAD- tubeset for the Hughes&Kettner Triamp MKI features our RT030 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE TAD Premium Selected in the first position (V1). It has no microphony and has no hum. It provides great warm clean tones, with strong bass, punchy mids and fat overdrive with smooth top end.

The remaining preamp-positions (V2 - V8), use the new RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7A/ECC83 Premium Selected, which provides a stunning warm tone, thick midrange and sweet natural harmonics. Its low noise performance makes it the perfect choice for clean or moderate gain preamps as well as for high-gain amps.

For the phase inverter (V9) we suggest our special phase inverter selected RT001-BPD 12AX7A-C TAD, BALANCED PHASE DRIVER Selection TAD Premium Selected.

As power tubes, we recommend our RT104 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE TAD PREMIUM Selected.

This matched quartet is the perfect choice for the tone of the rock legends with powerful deep bass and clear but pleasing airy top end. They cater for lively clean sounds and push the low end with pressure and are therefore the perfect choice for any rocking sound.

The Bias should be set on 30mA per tube. Please specify the grading of the tubes which is visible on the socket, If you tell us the number on the small sticker we can supply the adequate spares without the need of rebiasing the amp.
