In the first position (V6), this tube set features our RT093-HG TAD 7025-WB HIGHGRADE PREMIUM Selection which is outstanding because of its high gain, low microphonics, powerful mids and rich overtone sound. Played clean, the TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE delivers a warm liquid tone which is very responsive to dynamic playing.

The positions (V7, V9) use our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky/soft top end.

For V8, we recommend our TAD ECC83-WB PREMIUM Selected, a low-noise and low microphonic version of the 12AX7 that even meets the specifications of a 7025. It has a balanced tone with a slight emphasis on the upper mids, which gives the sound a nice string attack and clarity, while maintaining a strong and defined bass range.

In V5, we use our special Phase Driver selected RT095-SYM TAD ECC83-WA Selected.

The power tube section features a matched quad of our famous RT124 EL34-STR REDBASE TAD Premium Matched. The clear and harmonic open top end allows for great clean tones and at the same time the TAD EL34-STR REDBASE offers incredibly powerful mids and equally powerful bass.
