Tubeset for Vox Nighttrain 50
 
for getting a very tight, fat  and rich Lead sound with a crispy and full Clean tone I would choose the following combination.
 
The Vox is a Class A/B Amp which requires bias adjustment when changing the power tubes. Bias should be set to 35mV per tube at the test points.
