Tubeset for Vox AC15 TV BC

For that classic AC Class A tone with shiny trebles and pushing lows we recommend our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE in the first position (V1). This tube works greatly for warm clean tones and creamy overdrive. We recommend this tube for the 1st gain stage and as input tube.

For the second position (V2), we recommend our RT-12AX7 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected.This tube provides for very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response

In (V3) we operate our RT-12AX7 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. This perfectly balanced 12AX7 will allow the tube output stage to perform at its optimum for smooth tone and definition. The overall responsiveness will be significantly improved by revealing the full dynamic headroom of the amplifier. Tight deep bass, complex lively mids and silky top end with overall definition. When driven to saturation a guitar amp using a TAD TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected tube will provide its optimum sustain and sounds with harmonic overdrive.

For the power tubes, we chose a matched pair of our RT272 TAD-EL84-Cz Premium Matched with high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire, and therefore overall reliability. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production.

The power tubes do not have to be biased due to the Cathode-Bias mode of the amplifier.
