For that classic AC Class tone with shiny trebles and pushing lows we recommend this combination:

In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound. Played clean, the TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE delivers a warm liquid tone which is very responsive to dynamic playing.

The following position (V2) uses our RT-12AX7 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. It works best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

The power tube section features a matched pair of our RT272 TAD-EL84-Cz with high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire, and therefore overall reliability. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production.

No Rebiasing is needed since the amp runs on self Bias (cathode Bias)
