Tubeset for Orange ROCKERVERB 100 MKII

The input tubes for the clean and the lead channel should be our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE each. This tube is outstanding because of its high gain but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound.

In the lead channel, this tube is followed by our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected. It delivers a rich and harmonically complex tone and mid-range warmth that is just outstanding compared to any other currently manufactured tube today; great warm and clean tones and creamy overdrive.

For the reverb and the FX-Loop, our low noise tube RT002 12AT7 / ECC81 TAD Premium Selected is the perfect choice: a wounderfully rich-sounding reverb driver.

The phase inverter should be our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight, deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. Best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

For the power tubes, we only use a matched quad of our sensational high-gain RT124 EL34-STR REDBASE TAD Premium Matched. Their clear and harmonic open top end allows for great clean tone and at the same time, the TAD EL34-STR REDBASE offer incredibly powerful mids and equally powerful bass.

Consequently, this EL34 provides a maximum of gain and dynamic response.

When changing the power tubes, bias needs to be adjusted.
