In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound.
 
For the second position (V2), we recommend our RT-12AX7 12AX7A/ECC83  TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight, deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness.
 
In its latest version, our low noise tube, RT002 12AT7 / ECC81 TAD Premium Selected is the perfect tube for the V3 position: FX Loop.
 
In (V4) we operate our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected, . This perfectly balanced 12AX7 will allow the output stage to perform at its optimum for smooth tone and definition. The overall responsiveness will be significantly improved by revealing the full dynamic headroom of the amplifier. Tight deep bass, complex lively mids and silky top end with overall definition. When driven to saturation a guitar amp using a TAD 12AX7A/ECC83  tube will provide its optimum sustain and sounds with harmonic overdrive.
 
For the power tubes, we chose a matched quartet of our RT874 TAD-EL84M with high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire, and therefore overall reliability. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production.
 
For the rectifier tube, we recommend our RT501 GZ34/5AR4-STR TAD Premium Selected, a faithfull reproduction of the Mullard/VALVO GZ34. Pure power and the typical sag have been the distinguishing characteristics of the most popular guitar amps of guitar heroes since the 1960s.
