Our Tubeset for the Orange Jim Root Terror features our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE in the first position (V1). This tube is outstanding because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound.

The following position (V2) has our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. Best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

In its latest version, our low noise tube, RT002 12AT7 / ECC81 TAD Premium Selected is the perfect tube for the FX Loop (V3): a strong driver tube.

The last preamp tube should again be our RT-12AX7.

For the power tubes, we highly recommend our RT272 EL84-Cz TAD Premium Matched, a matched pair of our roughnecks. They deliver an extra amount of powerful bass response and a big and very dynamic tone.

No rebiasing is needed, as the power section runs on a cathode bias
