Our Tubeset for the Marshall 6100/6101 with 5881 Power Tubes features our RT095 TAD ECC83-WA PREMIUM Selection (~ 7025, 12AX7WA, E83CC) in the first position (V1) as the input tube for the clean channel. It provides a stunning warm tone, thick midrange and sweet natural harmonics. We designed it with a triple mica construction for low noise performance and it is therefore perfect for clean or moderate gain preamps.

The input tube for the Crunch and the Lead channel (V2) is our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound.

For (V3), we recommend our RT095 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. It delivers a rich, harmonically complex tone and mid-range warmth that is just outstanding compared to any other currently manufactured tube today. Great warm and clean tones and creamy overdrive.

The four following positions (V4-V7) should use our RT095 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. It works best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

For the power tubes, we recommend our RT104 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE TAD Premium Selected. This matched quartet is the perfect choice for the tone of the rock legends with powerful deep bass and clear but pleasing airy top end. They cater for lively clean sounds but can push the low end with pressure and are therefore the perfect choice for any rocking sound.

Bias has to be adjusted.
