Tubeset for Laney Laney LC30 and the LC30 II

In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, low microphony, powerful mids and a round, rich overtone sound. Played clean, the TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE delivers a warm liquid tone which is very responsive to dynamic playing.

The following two positions (V2, V3) use our RT095 TAD ECC83-WA PREMIUM Selection. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. Best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

In (V4) we operate our RT095 12AX7A/ECC83 TAD Premium Selected. This perfectly balanced 12AX7 will allow the output stage to perform at its optimum for smooth tone and definition. The overall responsiveness will be significantly improved by revealing the full dynamic headroom of the amplifier. Tight deep bass, complex lively mids and silky top end with overall definition. When driven to saturation a guitar amp using a TAD TAD ECC83-WA PREMIUM Selection tube will provide its optimum sustain and sounds with harmonic overdrive.

For the power tubes, we chose a matched quad of our RT274 TAD-EL84-Cz with high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire, and therefore overall reliability. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production.

No rebiasing is needed since this Amp is running on a so-called Class A Cathode Bias.
