Good set.

I contacted TAD for one or more tubes had broken in my Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 36.
I felt that I did not really didn't know anything about tubes and settings and everything.
After my contact I got an answer that I had different options. I said I didn't know which tubpe was broken and I wanted to buy a whole set of matched tubes. Following my taste of music and to ber a beginner to play the guitar, this became this set.
I received then very well packed and I started putting in the tubes, after googling and watching Youtube. No problems despite my ignorance.
With all seven tubes in the amp. I put in the cable and played a little, and now the amplifier sounded like I always had a wish in my head.

I am incredibly happy with the help I got from first contact and all the way to my order.
Full value of the money!

Nice Tubeset but 1 hour life!

I just bought this full Tubeset for my HK GM 40. Received last week -end ,mounted the sound was great during an hour, at the third switch on after the warning 3 minutes it was possible to observed the ecc83 V3 position turning internally to white color!
I did a quiet test with my guitar but no sound at all V3 tube is definitively dead, I am also for my pre-amp section. Actually in the doubt, I have not put back the HK initial made In China Tubeset !! Already sent a message to Tubeampdoctor, but there is a message , due to a certain situation, it’s possible that an answer could that 4 week!!! There is no phone number for a quick solution, Please help!

TAD: please use the "Service/Help" tab on our homepage (top right corner) and select "Warranty/Returns" to file the case. Our reaction time is stated within 48 hours but is mostly within one working day. The issue you face (white head tube) is a cracked glass issue causing the tube to lose vacuum. This usually happens by outside physical forces but if the tubes glass is not damaged then it is a warranty case of course.

Fresh tubes matter!

I recently bought a used 6 year old Grandmeister Deluxe 40 with the original tubes in it. I knew it could sound great from other Grandmeisters I've tried, but with the old tubes in mine the tone was terrible; harsh, brittle and a flappy bottom end. So after some searching I decided to buy this set and OMG what a difference! No more harshness and brittle sounding transients, no more undefined low end, it's the perfect amp now! And PLENTY of overdrive and distortion at hand! So nice to be able to go from a subtle overdriven sound to full on djent with the push of a button!

Will definitely recommend this set for the H&K Grandmeister Deluxe 40.
