Tubeset for Hiwatt 100, DR103

In the first position (V1), this tube set features our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound.

For the following position (V2), we use our RT093 7025-WB TAD Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness.

In its latest version, our low noise tube, RT002 12AT7 / ECC81 TAD Premium Selected is the perfect tube for the V3 position: a strong driver tube with a wounderful rich-sounding reverb driver.

In (V4) we chose our RT095.

The power tube section features a matched quad of our famous RT124 EL34-STR REDBASE TAD Premium Matched. This tube is an authentic remake of the British Mullard EL34. The clear and harmonic open top end allows for great clean tones and at the same time the TAD EL34-STR REDBASE offers incredibly powerful mids and equally powerful bass.

Bias should be set to approx. 35mA.
