For a tight and punchy clean sound with nice break up and silky highs we recommend the following combination:

In the first two positions (V1 and V2), this tube set features our RT030 TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE which is outstanding because of its high gain, but low microphony, powerful middles and a round, rich overtone sound. Played clean, the TAD 7025 / E83CC-Cz HIGHGRADE delivers a warm liquid tone which is very responsive to dynamic playing.

In its latest version, our low noise tube, RT002 12AT7 / ECC81 TAD Premium Selected is the perfect tube for the V3 and V6 position: a strong driver tube and a wounderfully rich-sounding reverb driver.

The following two positions (V4, V5) have our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected. This tube delivers very good gain, tight deep bass, fat mids and a silky top end with overall definition and brightness. It is selected with balanced systems and improves overall response. Best for clean tones, as well as for sounds requiring deep-bass power like any modern preamp.

For the power section, we recommend a matched pair of our RT102 6L6GCM-STR REDBASE TAD PREMIUM Selected. This tube also performs greatly for lively clean sounds as well as a powerful broadband power amplifier for multi-channel amps.s.

For the rectifier tube, we recommend our RT501 GZ34/5AR4-STR TAD Premium Selected, a faithfull reproduction of the Mullard/VALVO GZ34. Pure power and the typical sag have been the distinguishing characteristics of the most popular guitar amps of guitar heroes since the 1960s.

For a perfect, well balanced tone set Bias to 35mA per Tube.
