Our TAD-smooth tone-tubeset for the Fender Pro Junior III features our RT030 7025/E83CC HIGHGRADE TAD Premium Selected for the first position (V1). It has no microphony and has no hum. Great warm clean tones, strong bass, punchy mids and fat overdrive with smooth top end.

For the following position (V2), we recommend our RT-12AX7 TAD 12AX7/ECC83 REDBASE Premium Selected. Selected ECC83 for the big & warm clean sounds and mellow top-end when pushed to overdrive. Our recommendation if you are seeking to reduce brightness slightly and you want to emphasise punchy mids. Especially great when pushed into a fat overdrive.

For the power tubes, we chose a matched pair of our RT272 TAD-EL84STR power tubes with high-class cathode coating, plate options and gold grid wire, and therefore overall reliability. The sound is very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production. No compromise!

The Bias has to be set up since amp is not an Class A Amp.
