Chassis – special features and differences
As is often the case, the big manufacturers have not really coordinated among themselves in the selection and fabrication of their components. DIN standards and uniform dimensions – none in sight!
Nevertheless, to find the right components for one's own Amp, we offer different variants of the metal housings.
Pre-drilled chassis – spare part or new construction
We provide our customers with the suitable chassis for Fender, Marshall, or DIY projects. With Tweed Chassis and Blackface Chassis, our customers can choose from a wide range offered by our own TAD line or by the supplier Mojotone.
All pre-drilled chassis have the necessary and appropriate holes for all connections and fixings needed for the clean wiring of the respective Amp. Especially the precise dimensions of the holes are important for success. Therefore, we check our components very precisely – nothing stands in the way of a successful installation!
Those who want to build their own Amp or really aim for individual solutions are on the right track with one of our unprepared Amp Chassis. The high-quality frames are made from various materials and can be adapted to the respective necessary types of installation. It applies:
- Plexi: Aluminum
- Tweed: chrome-plated steel sheet
- Blackface: galvanized sheet
