Product information "Jensen P10R-FENDER 10'' Alnico 25W, 8 Ohm"

The P10R-F AlNiCo speaker was designed by the Jensen factory in cooperation with Fender® for the reissue of the Fender '57 Bandmaster® and the 20th Anniversary Vibro King®. The goal was to design a P10R speaker with a more broken-in, worn sound straight out of the box. The P10R-F has a smooth, round top end and a full-bodied low end response, it distorts at lower levels; and still maintains the vintage classic tonalities of the legendary P10R.

This new (fall 2014) JENSEN P10R-F is a modified P10R for a smoother tone and earlier break-off. Compared to the regular P10R, it provides a bit less brightness and less sound pressure (92.5dB vs. 95.0dB); therefore a good way of soothing a too clean or too brightly sounding amp.

great for: '59 Bassman, '57 Bandmaster, (brown) Concert Amp and 2x10" Vibroverb, (tweed) Harvard, Princeton, Super Amp and Vibrolux (-1961) but also an interesting alternative for blackface and silverface Fender Super Reverb, Vibrolux Reverb and Princeton Reverb Amps.

great speaker

Theese are fantastic speakers. I bought four of them for my tweed bassman 5f6 amp I made myself with point to point circuitry. I had installed normal Jensen P10R speakers before but the amp was too loud and to trebly. With theese 92,5 db speakers the amp is rounder and has a more usable volume and nice compression. In my opinion theese new speakers worth the money.

This Amp Kit is based on the legendary Fender Tweed Super®
 
The Fender Tweed Super® 5F4 with its dual 10" Speaker is a late-mid 1950s amp and featured the single-rectifier power supply exactly like the 5E7 Bandmaster and the 5F5 Pro 
This amp has a much bolder tone compared to the later higher power models and fits wonderful for punchy and warm clean guitar tones or fat midrange tones when pushed a bit. 
This 5F4 type amp got popular by famous west-coast guitar players.

This Amp Kit is based on the legendary Fender Tweed Bassman®
 
The real beast for Rn´R and Blues!
Famous for its tone which is distinctive and without parallel.
The four 10" speakers are mounted on a rather thin floating baffle board wchich makes the trademark tone of the 5F6A.
Initially designed for amplifying up-right bassit has made it into the hall of fame of all guitar amplifiers to be heard on countless recordings from the 1950s with Elvis Presley and still must in any recording studio today.
