These do not screw in all the way.. only about 5mm Box is a 2x10 original Fender 1965

TAD: This is sure not the fault of these thumb screws as they are genuine Fender spares and are same type since invention in 1960.

Consider that the bushings are uncovered holes collection dust and dirt maybe since 1965?

Try to clean the bushing (brass-brush + DeoxIT D5 will help) from grunge and corrosion. The screws will fit! We experienced the exact same situation many times.
