The FANE Ascension A60 is a 12-inch, 60 watt, Classic Alnico driver. While its stunningly simple 'old school' visual statement will elicit an instant smile, you will find yourself unprepared for the sonic impact about to be experienced. The keyword here is balance. Tono vintage

Un cono molto presente sulle medie frequenze, il timbro è rotondo e con frequenze alte dettagliate ma non taglienti. Non è molto "fermo" sulle basse frequenze: la banda di frequenze attorno ai 150/250 hz va leggermente tagliata (lavorando con l'eq oppure sui condensatori dell'amp) per evitare slabbramenti fastidiosi (muddy bass).

A very present cone in the mid frequencies, the timbre is round with detailed but not edgy high frequencies. It is not very ‘firm’ in the low frequencies: the frequency band around 150/250 hz needs to be slightly cut (by working with the eq or on the amp's capacitors) to avoid annoying muddy bass.

Received the pair of A60s, installed them, and have just gave them a go. Very happy with the sound right out of the box. Build quality is above anything I’ve ever seen. Very nice. Rotating rear cap is a nice touch. Can’t wait to see how they break in. Thanks for all your help and advice.
