In my case they are used in EAR/Yoshino 509 monoblocs, replacing aged Mullard's. You need a week them to start working and after this period surprise - fast, tight and spacious sound again, trademark of EAR 509.

ECC 85 are very hard to find and if you need them, hurry up. RFT is not a bad choice, just opposite if you have an amplifier with good design.
