For me after many years of looking for the perfect headphone amplifier, this is the one. I love the organic sound and the amplifier is dead silent for any kind of backround noise. You will hear the music as recorded, effortless, works very well with high impendance Beyerdynamic headphones. I use the T1 2nd gen. with 600 ohm and the DT 770 with 250 ohm. I had many headphone amps but this one is the best
