The GE Five-Star high-reliability series are specially designed, manufactured and tested; they arenot "selected" tubes. The 5751 benefit from double stacked mica spacers on the bootom and top end of the plates plus a 3rd level supporting the getter system.

Lower Gain ECC83 type tube. great for clean tone with mild top end compared with "regular" ECC83/12AX7

Pro's choice for improved Fender Clean-Tone

This triple-mica version is know to be more rugged and less prone to microphoics compared to the regular GE 2-mica version.
