Back in 1986 a new breed of hard rock player was on the rise. To meet the demands of the players and their increasingly 'hot-rodded' amplifiers, we set out to develop a modern speaker, capable of handling much more power and overdrive.

To achieve this, we coupled our H magnet (the closest in performance to Alnico) with a new cone and voice coil employing contemporary materials.

Our most revealing speaker, the Vintage 30 features enormously detailed and complex overtones, a warm low-end, a famously rich vocal mid-range and a beautifully detailed top-end. Used singly to reveal the complexities in hand-wired boutique amps, or in quartets for a wonderfully intricate vintage 3D crunch, the Vintage 30 sound has been captured on thousands of recordings from a diverse range of notable players including Slash, Steve Stevens, Steve Vai, Warren Haynes and Peter Frampton and bands such as Arch Enemy and Killswitch Engage.

The Hype is Real!!

Super balanced, no harsh frequencies, can take all the low end in the world and sound just perfect. Tried with ENGL, Marhall and EVH, all sounded much better than before. Amazing speakers!!

Back to the roots!

Absolutely back to the original V30 Tone. I was always searching on the used market for those UK made ones, because I owned one and it sounded very different than the Chinese. Now you can buy new ones with the same original tone!

The Chinese made ones are definitely not bad, but for darker sounding amps or lower gain crunch tones. I always found them thin and too aggressive sounding for a 5150 or even a fireball. The UK made ones are much better for the high gain territory and sound full in the mix.

10 out of 10 for Celestion, bringing back the original!
