Application: For mechanical devices and systems that require precise lubrication and easy cleaning.

Applications: Bearings (all types), doors (latches), drives (chain/sprockets), hatch latches, o-rings and seals, linear motion systems, plugs (threaded holes), rack and pinion assemblies, screwing devices (jacks, rails), sliding bushings, Sliding parts, rails/guides/rails, threaded fasteners, worm gears, etc.

Notes: Works best when surfaces are relatively clean. Removes most surface oxidation and corrosion over time.

WHY another marine grease?

Marine greases currently do a good job of lubricating and protecting mechanical devices and equipment. However, they do address a common problem affecting all metals, oxidation/corrosion present on the surfaces.

CAIG's DeoxIT® L27 greases do an excellent job of lubricating and protecting metal surfaces. They also contain special additives that remove and displace most surface oxidation and corrosion on metals.

Manufactured in semi-solid form for use as a combined cleaning, deoxidizing, protecting and lubricating agent. Grease protects against oxidation (galvanic corrosion) and is free of mineral acids, sulphurs, lyes and other metal-aggressive pollutants.

The infusion of DeoxIT® Dx100L into the formulation provides an additional film on the metal surface to remove/displace corrosion and provide a movable/flexible protective barrier. This is important if and when the grease is disturbed and becomes detached from the metal surface. When the grease is first applied, the enriched DeoxIT® Dx100L transfers to the metal, covering the entire surface; Sealing and protection of the metal even if the grease comes off the surface (vibration or mechanical movement). No other fat can do that!
