Super produit !
I've just fitted my Blues Junior into the TAD tweed cabinet. I had already re-valved it and changed the speaker to a Jensen, but there wss an immediate reduction in boxiness and an increase in resonance with the new cabinet. The amp sounds pleasantly smooth and full and the cabinet is beautifully made and looks very classy. Like many people, I've been struggling to find a warm-sounding valve amp that can be used for moderate sized gigs. My Fender de Luxe is just too loud. Fender have skimped on the Blues Junior cabinet, but this conversion has made it sound much more focused and mellow. It's not a cheap option, but if you're trying to find that elusive depth of tone in a small amplifier, then it's going to help a lot. My only criticism is that some simple instruction would be very useful - the tweed cover been glued over the pre-drilled holes and, unless you've worked out how the Fender is assembled (the back panel is fixed to the chassis only, not the cabinet) it's a little puzzling at first. But don't reach for a drill - the holes are there and the reinforced back panel holds the amplifier perfectly adequately.
