Our own birthday gift celebrating 30 years of Tube Amp Doctor: TAD's take on perhaps the most famous British 30W amp.

A two-channel amp (brilliant and normal) with two inputs each (high and low) with the best British sound characteristics.

The Brilliant channel is based on the classic Top Boost design. With interactive two-band EQ, the Brilliant channel delivers everything from crunchy jingle jangles to juicy, smacking overdrive sounds and reacts with impressive dynamics to guitar settings, pickups and attack.

The highlight is the normal channel. Designed like an early 15W amp, with an EF86 tube and effective tone control, it delivers crystal-clear cleans. When heated up with 30W EL84 tube power, it has a lot of headroom that you can only dream of.

The tone cut, which is active for both channels, also opens up further sound options.

Please note:

This amp kit can be operated with mains voltages of 117/120 volts and 220/230/240 volts.

However, both the plug type used and the technical design are preconfigured to the European standard.

Please inform us at the end of the ordering process if you plan on operating the amp at 117/120 volts.

In this case, for example, other fuses and a different power plug must be included.
