Small box Amp Head with 18 Watt power, 2 chanels, tube rectifier and 3 Band Tone Control à la JTM45. A juwel with huge fan comunity as this is a perfect amp for club-bands playing real rock- or blues at reasonable loudness but with big fat tone. Silky clean and british crunch can be easily achieved with this new Amp Kit!!!!

I was very impressed with the quality of this kit. Some kits have holes that don't line up or wrong hardware or require a little too much bending to make things fit. On this one there was nearly none of that, and only a couple things I would improve.

Since I built mine, TAD has now come out with a smaller cabinet for the head, "K-CM18H". I like the smaller box much better.

Absolute fantastic components! No kidding! The nicest cabinet work I've ever seen, the aluminium chassis and the generic plexi panels are beauties. The TAD paper bobbin output transformer did outperform my Mercury Magnetics made OT Radiospares style O18RS-L I had from another project. This kit seemed to me to be a compilation of perfectly matching components. What an outstanding experience. Can't wait to try your 5E8 Tweed Twin kit I'll build next.
